Hollywood beauty Scarlett Johansson has been hailed as having the sexiest body in the world.

The Lost In Translation star, who was once described as “criminally sexy” by director Woody Allen, came top in a poll for Glamour magazine, ahead of actress Jessica Alba and supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

The magazine says, “With curves to rival Marilyn Monroe’s, Scarlett embraces old-school Hollywood style.”

Jessica Biel has beaten her reported one-time love rival Scarlett Johansson to the top of a new Sexiest Women poll.

Both actresses were romantically linked to Justin Timberlake at the beginning of 2007, although Johansson, who appeared in the pop star’s steamy What Goes Around, Comes Around video, has recently denied she dated the singer.

But, if the rumours were true, Timberlake was dating the two top women in the world, according to men’s magazine Stuff.

Biel finished first and Johansson second in the publication’s 100 Sexiest Women list.

The two pals, who were recently spotted shopping together in Paris, France, beat off challenges from Jessica Alba, Eva Longoria and American Idol star Katharine Mcphee.

The curvaceous 22-year-old is determined to be seen as a serious actress and now won’t commit to any role without the clause.

A source is quoted by Britain’s Daily Express newspaper as saying: ‘Scarlett is still very young and is aware the roles she takes are going to set out where her career as an actress takes her in the future.

‘She doesn’t want to fall into being too controversial or too trashy so nude scenes are out for now.’ However, Scarlett may have to rethink her naked stance if she lands the role of adult film superstar Jenna Jameson in a movie about her life.

The ‘Lost In Translation’ star has reportedly been singled out by the X-rated actress to play her in a film movie adaptation of her autobiography ‘How To Make Love Like A Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale’.

Jenna said: ‘We’re looking at Scarlett Johansson. She’s my choice. I think she’s beautiful.’ Scarlett is also said to be very keen on the role and is even hoping it could pave the way for Oscar glory.

Scarlett Johansson struggled while acting with co-star Eric Bana in new movie The Other Boleyn Girl - she couldn’t stop looking at his private parts.

Bana who plays Henry VIII in the movie, had to wear a codpiece for the part a decorative flap used to cover male genitalia in medieval England, and it proved to be too much of a distraction for Johansson.

Johansson, who plays Mary Boleyn in the film, says, “We’d be ready to do a scene and I couldn’t look at anything else. I won’t get over that codpiece for a long time.”Eric would use it as a tool. He would rest his hands or a cup of coffee on it. People would even lead him around the set by it.”

The Lost In Translation star, who is the face of cosmetics giant L’Oreal, admits she isn’t afraid to use the surgery in the future to avoid growing old ungracefully.

She says, “I will definitely have plastic surgery - I don’t want to become an old hag! “I think if you’re comfortable with yourself that’s sexy, but if you’re not then go for it.”
