Vanessa Williams Receives a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Ugly Betty star Vanessa Williams was presented with a star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday afternoon (19MAR07), following her successful turn as a singer and actress.

The former Miss America was gived the 2,331st star on the historic sidewalk and her castmates from Ugly Betty were also present to support her.

The 44-year-old actress said, “I love working with these people. The sun didn’t shine today, but my heart is shining.” Ugly Betty producer and star Salma Hayek says, “We were so happy to get Vanessa. She is brilliant because she is so nasty on the show, but in reality she is the sweetest person.”
